Join the members of Cantabile - the Chattanooga Boys Choir ensemble for changed voices - in a day of fun, learning, and performing! The day features rehearsal of the men's choir literature, voice classes, and a performance by UTVOLume, the University of Tennessee men's a capella ensemble. Guest clinicians for the event include Dr. Gene Peterson, Associate Director of Choral Activities at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and Darrin Hassevoort, Professor of Music at Chattanooga State and Chorus Master of the Chattanooga Symphony Chorus. This free event for young men currently in grades 8-12 includes workshop fees and sheet music. Optional lunch on-site is $6.

NOTE: Registration of participants (male singers in grades 8-12) is due by Friday, September 21.

Come hear this beautiful and accessible work for orchestra, baritone and soprano soloists, mixed chorus, and children's choir by one of the world's foremost composers of our time. Rutter's Mass of the Children celebrates its 10th anniversary this season, and the Chattanooga Boys Choir is commemorating the occasion by performing the work with the choirs of First United Methodist Church-Dalton GA and First Baptist Church-Chattanooga.

The Chattanooga Boys Choir celebrates one of the city's most time-honored holiday traditions with a special 50th anniversary performance of the Singing Christmas Tree. Featuring all five of the CBC's component choirs, the program will include favorite selections from years' past, including Frosty the Snowman, Do You Hear What I Hear?, and The Little Drummer Boys. The choirs will also sing selections from Handel's Messiah, carols from numerous cultures and countries, and the premiere of a commissioned piece by Ken Berg written for the golden anniversary of the choir's Singing Christmas Tree. The CBC will be joined by Ballet Tennessee, musicians from the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera Youth Orchestra, and an alumni choir formed for this special event. These forces will combine for an impressive mulit-disciplinary arts experience that will be sure to bring a smile to all ages.

NOTE: Student performances on November 30 are by reservation only. Contact the Chattanooga Boys Choir office to reserve your school's seats and to inquire about reduced student ticket prices.

Members of the Chattanooga Boys Choir and the Chattanooga Choral Society for the Preservation of African-American Song join together for the 20th installment of this favorite event. Re-visit your Olympics experience by celebrating the music of the British Invasion with the Chattanooga Boys Choir and special musical guests The Pool. This unforgettable music of the 1960's and 70's will include hits by The Beatles, The Who, Mike and the Mechanics, Rolling Stones, and others.
